Easy ROR Pro Now Downloads Free Benchmark Data*

In September 2024, Yahoo!® (yahoo.com) became a subscription-based service, requiring Easy ROR Pro users to pay for a Yahoo Gold subscription to continue downloading benchmark historical price data.

Easy ROR Pro 18.3 now allows downloading of limited historical data* for FREE. While the new data is limited, it can allow you to continue benchmarking your portfolios in most cases, bridging the gap with existing data and making future benchmark maintenance easier.

Easy ROR Pro 18.3 continues to allow you to sign in to a Yahoo Gold account in order to continue to access full historical data. Yahoo offers a free trial period for Gold subscriptions, and we recommend you test Yahoo's service before committing to a paid term.

Easy ROR Pro 18.3 provides you many options for obtaining and maintaining benchmark data. You can still import benchmark data into Easy ROR Pro from text files, and you can still add prices manually. You can also build a Yahoo Portfolio on the Yahoo Finance website and then download it as a CSV file whenever you need to update your data.  Of course all of Easy ROR Pro's benchmark functionality is still active for data currently in your database.
