Urgent Announcement Regarding your Product September 2024 Attention Fundwatch UsersEffective September 2024, Yahoo!® (yahoo.com) has become a subscription-based service that no longer provides free historical data for indexes or securities. For this reason, Fundwatch can no longer freely access historical data from the internet. Fundwatch 8.7 provides a feature to sign in to a Yahoo account in order to continue to access historical data. You must separately subscribe to Yahoo!® Gold service to obtain a username and password. You can then sign in through Fundwatch under the Options menu during sessions for which you need to access data. With Fundwatch 8.7 you may still be able to freely import latest prices using a Yahoo Portfolio Watchlist and build your current data files forward (you will also have to enter dividends/distributions manually in order to get their effects on rate of return). Be advised that Yahoo detects frequent server requests and
may temporarily lock out Fundwatch if the number of securities in your file is
large or if you are frequently updating. You should therefore discontinue collection of intraday
data and avoid use of the real-time streamer. Please review and abide by Yahoo's terms of service
for permitted usage of their website. We sincerely regret this situation and its impact on our products and our customers. We will try to continue to support you as best we can. Periodically check your Upgrades menu option for status updates. While we make efforts to mitigate this situation, please remember we cannot guarantee access to third-party services (even a paid subscription) and cannot predict what changes Yahoo may make going forward.
