Investor's Accountant Now Downloads Free Historical Data*

In September 2024, Yahoo!® (yahoo.com) became a subscription-based service, requiring Investor's Accountant users to pay for a Yahoo Gold subscription to continue downloading historical price data for securities and benchmarks.

Investor's Accountant 11.5.4 now allows downloading of limited historical data* for FREE. While the new data is limited, it can allow you to continue updating histories and benchmarking your portfolios in most cases, bridging the gap with existing data and making future price maintenance easier.

Investor's Accountant 11.5.4 continues to allow you to sign in to a Yahoo Gold account in order to continue to access full historical data. Yahoo offers a free trial period for Gold subscriptions, and we recommend you test Yahoo's service before committing to a paid term.

Investor's Accountant 11.5.4 provides you many options for obtaining and maintaining security data. You can still import historical data into Investor's Accountant from text files, and you can still add prices manually. Of course all of Investor's Accountant's benchmark functionality is still active for data currently in your database.
