PORTFOLIO ANALYZER™ Version 6.0

New in this release:

1. Portfolio Analyzer now supports the new IRS cost basis reporting methods effective Jan 1, 2011. When recording the selling/closing of a partial holding, either directly or as the result of options being exercised, the following accounting methods are now available:
       FIFO (first in, first out)
       LIFO (last in, first out)
       Specific identification of shares
       High Cost - highest basis per share regardless of holding period
       Low Cost - lowest basis per share regardless of holding period
       Average Cost - for mutual funds
   
   
2. Security data (name, symbol, type, CUSIP, currency, price, etc.) for one or more securities can now be imported from a text file by using a user-defined description of the file.
